Post-launch checks

What to watch the day after launching your MVP.

The day after launch is not for rewriting the whole product. It is for checking whether the launch system is alive: people can find it, the page explains it, tracking fires, and support is quiet for the right reasons.

Run a launch checkRead the blog

Start with the path, not the dashboard

Open the homepage, click the primary CTA, complete the first step, and make sure the thank-you, checkout, or workspace state appears. A dashboard can tell you what happened after the path works. It cannot replace the path itself.

Read source quality before volume

One clear visit from the right source is more useful than fifty visits you cannot explain. Check source tags, referrers, landing-page views, CTA clicks, intake starts, and purchases before increasing spend.

Treat support as launch telemetry

A quiet inbox can mean the product is clear, or it can mean the contact path is broken. Verify the support address receives mail, scan the inbox, and separate account notifications from real customer issues.

Only change what the evidence names

The fastest way to waste day two is to redesign from nerves. If the issue is tracking, fix tracking. If the issue is traffic quality, fix targeting. If the issue is conversion copy, revise the promise and leave the rest alone.
