Free landing page analyzer
Analyze your landing page: a free score out of 100, and the one fix to make first

What the landing page audit gives you
The 7 dimensions, and what each one can and can't see
About four-fifths of the score comes from fixed checks on your page's HTML; the rest is an AI read of the copy, capped so a model can't move the score far. Here is what each dimension looks at, including where a static read has blind spots.
| Dimension | Points | What it checks |
|---|---|---|
| Product clarity | 20 | Whether a stranger can tell what the product is and who it is for. Fixed checks: a page title, a meta description, a real H1 headline of useful length, and a favicon. The AI read judges whether the promise is concrete or a category buzzword. |
| Demo and creative | 20 | Whether the page shows the product. Fixed checks: an embedded video and how much imagery the page carries. The AI read judges whether the visuals actually show the product working. Limit: Media injected only by JavaScript after load can be missed. |
| Conversion path | 15 | Whether there is an obvious next step. Fixed checks: calls to action, a pricing or offer signal, and a signup or waitlist form. The AI read judges whether the path is clear and low-risk. |
| Social share readiness | 15 | What your link looks like when it is shared. Fixed checks: Open Graph image, title and description, and an X (Twitter) card tag. |
| Trust and proof | 10 | Reasons to believe. Fixed checks: proof signals such as testimonials, customer logos or usage numbers, supporting imagery, and links to terms and privacy pages. The AI read judges how convincing the proof is. |
| Launch channel readiness | 10 | Signs the product is ready to be promoted. Fixed checks: a blog or changelog, a real custom domain rather than a preview URL, and visible momentum such as proof. The AI read judges launch-channel assets. |
| Measurement | 10 | Whether analytics and marketing pixels are present in the page HTML, so launch traffic can be attributed. Limit: Tags loaded through a tag manager, a consent banner or server-side often do not appear in a static read, so this one is reported as "unverified" rather than failed when we cannot see it. |
What the score labels mean
| 85 to 100 | Launchable |
| 70 to 84 | Almost launch-ready |
| 50 to 69 | Built, not launch-ready |
| 30 to 49 | Prototype energy |
| 0 to 29 | Too early |
A real example: our own page
We ran launchbuddy.com through the same analyzer on November 3, 2026. It scored 78/100, almost launch-ready. These are the real numbers from that report, not a mock-up.

What it found, and what we changed on our homepage
| Found | What we changed | Status |
|---|---|---|
| No video or demo. We sell explainer videos and showed none. | Added a 52-second demo video near the top of this page, made from our own screens, and a short clip in the explainer card. | Fixed |
| No product screenshots. | Added a real screenshot of our own report: the one on this page. | Fixed |
| Two calls to action competed in the hero: the scan and the checklist. | The scan is now the only button in the hero. The checklist is a quiet text link. | Fixed |
| The headline named a category, not who it’s for. | New headline: “Is your product ready to launch?” | Fixed |
| Proof is numbers only, with no named customer. | Still open. We won’t invent quotes. Real ones go on this page when founders give them to us. | Open |
| Analytics are only partly verified. | Still open. A scan from outside can’t see events fire, so this one needs a check by hand. | Open |
The weakest dimension on our own page was demo and creative, the same one that is weakest across most launch pages. We left the open items open rather than invent quotes or claim tracking we cannot verify from outside.

When to use a landing page analyzer
- Before you launch: on Product Hunt, in a community, or to your list.
- Before you buy ads, so paid clicks land on a page that is ready for them.
- When people visit but do not sign up, and you need to know what to fix first.
- After a redesign, to check nothing important went missing.
Landing page analyzer FAQ
Is the landing page analyzer free?
Yes. The scan, the score out of 100 and your biggest gap are free, with no account and no card. You can enter an email to get the full report sent to you.
How does the landing page analyzer work?
It fetches your public page once, the way a first-time visitor would, reads the HTML (headline, page title, meta tags, calls to action, forms, media, share tags, analytics tags) and combines those checks with an AI read of the copy. The result is a score across seven dimensions, a 13-item launch checklist marked found, missing or unverified, and the single gap to fix first.
What is a good landing page score?
Across the 241 launch pages in our data the median is 55 out of 100. 18% score 70 or more, which we label almost launch-ready, and very few clear 85. A score of 70 or above means the page has most of the signals a cold visitor looks for.
Is this a landing page SEO audit?
Partly. It checks the on-page basics search engines and link previews read (title, meta description, H1, Open Graph and X card tags), but it is a launch-readiness audit, not a full SEO crawler. It does not check rankings, backlinks or every page of your site.
Does a high score mean my page converts?
No. The score measures whether the page has the signals a cold visitor needs: clarity, a visible product, proof, a clear next step and a good share preview. It does not see your sign-ups or sales. Use it to find what is missing, then measure conversions with your own analytics.
Why can't I scan a famous site like Stripe or Linear?
The free scanner is for your own product. Large, established sites are skipped so the report stays relevant to a launch. To see what famous pages do well, read our examples hubs, such as SaaS landing page examples.
Can it read pages built with JavaScript frameworks?
It reads the HTML your server returns. Most modern sites (Next.js, Astro, Webflow, Framer and similar) return server-rendered HTML and scan well. A page that renders everything in the browser after load may score lower than it deserves, and the report flags items it could not verify.
